Liam is six months old today!

Wednesday, December 19, 2007

Any day now.

Any day now.

Well, this Saturday is the "day" - according to the standard pregnancy wheel that docs use to predict when a baby is coming. It's not accurate at all and assumes every woman has a 28 day period with ovulation on day 14.

So, really, Liam could come any day now! Crazy, exciting...and we have no idea what we are getting ourselves into. Seriously. But, he'll be adorable, and it'll be worth it.

Hope Group prayed for us last night and that was really nice because the group is made up of many moms and dads who've been through the birthing process at least once before, two pregnant gals who are just a few weeks behind me, and a few other folks that just love God a lot and love asking God to meet our earthly needs. So it was encouraging for sure.

Yesterday was my last day at the accounting firm. It will be weird not working for a while (or as Corey thinks a long while - we'll see!). I'm excited to have a few days to relax and finish up a few random items before Liam arrives - unless of course he comes today or tomorrow!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Little Liam, we're excited for you to come meet us. We love you so much already and we can't wait to love you even more. What a gift God is entrusting us with. A tiny tiny person to call our own, to love and guide and point towards a Heavenly Father that will love so much more intensely and deeply than we ever could. The world isn't always easy, little one, but there is so much beauty to be seen and felt and experienced. I pray that you can drink up the beauty and receive deeply of all that is good in the world.

Come soon little one. Many many friends and family are ready to receive you with love and joy and gladness!!!

2 weeks to go!

Yes, only two weeks remaining (or maybe 3 or 4).

CRAZY!

Hello Xanga, my poor neglected friend!

And hello friends who still read xanga...I feel the number is few these days.

I'm having a baby in five weeks or less.....eeck!

It's exciting.  We can't wait to meet Liam!!

Life is good here in Austin.  That's all I have to say right now.

Miss you guys and gals,

Sommer

I'm officially in my third trimester....2 down, 1 to go.  That means Liam will be here in like 13 weeks, or sooner...crazy!

I'm realizing that 13 weeks is like no time at all.  Pray for Corey and I to get ready for this new adventure!

Things are good in Austin.  Corey's still looking for a job.  There are a few epidemiology opportunities opening up...please pray that he gets chosen for some interviews in the next two weeks.  Lord, you are faithful to provide for our needs - We trust you!

Hope in the City is great.  Slowly we're meeting people and getting settled into life.  We've found a hope group and our training school is going really well.  There are 8 of us total in the school this year so it's nice and intimate.

We miss you people!
